Tinsaba represents over 400 rural womenthroughout Swaziland in Africa. They work with the natural fiber sisal that is a member of the Agave family of plants. The fiber is scraped from the leaf with a sharp instrument, dried and dyed, then twisted and hand woven. The complex weaving pattern with geometric design is the more traditional style. The purchase of this basket contributes to women's empowerment.
