The unique hand-painted  ceramics from the Kichwa indigenous people contain imagery that reflects their mythology and legend.  All materials are locally harvested including three colors of clay and minerals used to paint the bowls with colored clay.  They complete complex designs with a fine brush  with skill honed  by centuries of ceramic creations, many that are protected and studied in Museum collections.
